Congregation Sons Of Israel

ק"ק סונז אוב אייזרל

Services

Services are held each Shabbat morning beginning at 9:30 a.m. Ours is a spirited davenen, enhanced with congregational singing and participation. The highlight of each service is our Torah discussion, led by Rabbi Gold prior to k'riat ha-Torah, the Reading of the Torah. Following the conclusion of the service, everyone is welcome to join us at kiddush, prepared by a wonderful cadre of volunteers. Once a month we have a kiddush luncheon, hosted by a different family, in honor of a family event, or "just because".

Additionally, services are held each morning of the Major Festivals, Pesah, Shavuot, and Sukkot and on the Yamim Noraim, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Other services are our Family Service held on the First Friday night of the month during the school year, as well as shaharit on Hoshanah Rabbah and Purim mornings.

Continuing in 5770 will be an alternating monthly Kabbalat Shabbat service on Friday evenings and Shabbat afternoon Minha, Seudah Shlishit (third Shabbat meal), Maariv, and Havdalah. Be sure to check News and Views for the latest information concerning our worship services.
